The Law of Attraction or Attraction Law has been attracting a lot of attention recently – well at least since “The Secret” was published, but this law has been written about by many people over the years.

Many of the books whose content have been closely aligned with the principles of the Law of Attraction have not necessarily been recognised as a contribution specifically to this field.

Some are thought of as self development books, some you will find in the business sections at your local library or bookstore.

Yet others will be in the religious, spiritual or new age sections, but if you look beneath the surface to the content, you will find similar themes running through all of them.

The Three Steps of Activating the Attraction Law

There are three main steps to attracting anything that you desire to manifest in your life and they are:

  1. Ask
  2. Believe
  3. Receive

Basically you need to know what you want, believe that it is possible for you to have it, expect it to manifest for you and then recognise and acknowledge whatever it is when it does.

There are a lot of descriptors and explanations for Attraction Law ideas, like positive psychology, wish fulfillment, or even strategic planning in the business sphere, but when you come right down to it, it is all about how we view the world and what we understand our place to be within it.

We create our own realities and we attract into our lives the people, circumstances, opportunities, threats and resources, that we expect to be in our lives.  If we think that the world is an unfriendly place, it will be.  If we believe that there is good in everyone, that is what we will see.
